i need help please, my live rock was fine n purple was all over it.
now i see its getting brown all over and like tiny hair like greenish brown strands.

What is causing this?

Algae - natural thing to happen in a tank as nutrient levels rise.

How long has the tank been running ? What maintenance regime do you follow?

alright but will it come back will the brown n hairy stuff go away?

i top up once a week and water changes every 2 weeks

Every tank goes through that cycle of algae/cyno growth initially. With the correct flow and water parameters, you'll soon be back to pink rocks. This may be a good time to start investing in test kits, so that you can post parameters when you have problems. Remember that stability is the key to a successful aquarium.
