Anemone VS. Powerhead

Last night my GTBA got sucked into my Seio powerhead.
I was able to pry him loose and he fell to the sand and just laid on his side. I picked him up and perched him on a rock. He attached his foot to the rock but is drooping downward and not holding himself up. Do you think he is dead? I know I have to remove him right away if he is dead, but im not sure he is. Ill post a pic in my gallery so you can see. Also any advice on keeping this from happening again? Dam powerhead!!

Thanks for any advice!!

Ideally eliminate powerheads from the tank. Otherwise try and figure out why he was unhappy in the spot that he was in in the first place. Either inadequate lighting or bad water quality. Test the water now to check if it has polluted the water at all or perhaps it was bad before it moved...

Just a tip. If this ever happen to anyone, the best thing to do is to just switch the pump off and let the anemone slowly untangle it’s self. Trying to pry them loose can result in a lot more damage to the anemone.

I built cages with mesh around my powerheads so the powerheads cant get the anemone.
